Other Formats
Bibliographic Record Linking ties together related materials available in a variety of formats, such as print, online and CD. The links from one record to another record (or records, if there are multiple formats) appear in a gray-colored box in the MadCat record.
Example: When searching for The Journal of General Education
, MadCat will display each format separately in the list of results. This particular journal is available in print and online (electronic resource):
When viewing one of the two records, the Other Formats field will have a link to the other record (format):
