Search History

The Search History page allows you to re-execute or edit any previous searches you have performed in a current MadCat session. To access your search history, you must first complete at least one search. The live Search History link will display at the top of the screen, with other MadCat links.

The Search History page lists the number of items found for each search (Results), the Search Type (Title, Author Browse, etc.) and exactly what you searched (Searched For)

To use Search History:

  1. Click the Search History link at the top of the screen
  2. Click on a particular search's Search Type or Searched For to re-execute the search; OR
  3. Click the number in the Edit column to edit the search.
Note about setting limits and combining sets : Search History does not retain information about search limits. If you re-execute or edit a search, any current limits in effect will be used instead of limits you had specified previously. It is not possible to combine sets from your search history.
