Author Browses (Basic)
Authors in MadCat are most often individuals, and may include editors and performers. See the table of contents at the left for information on authors as corporations, conferences, associations or government agencies.
In the Basic Search, select Author Browse from the Search By: dropdown menu:
- Type the author's last name first
- Punctuation is not necessary
To find all works by William Shakespeare

If you are unsure of an author's first name, or unsure of the correct spelling, type as much as you know. To find works by Tennessee Williams

Corporate, Conference and Other Names
Corporate, conference, geographic and government names as authors should be entered in direct order. Punctuation is not necessary.
