Call Number Browse / Call Number Search
Most call numbers are Library of Congress (LC) or National Library of Medicine (NLM). There are several other types, including Dewey and Cutter. A Call Number Browse is more reliable for LC, NLM, or Dewey. A Call Number Search can retrieve numbers not available through Browse, such as Cutter call numbers (for example, AP J83 A162
).
Punctuation matters. Include all periods and spaces where applicable.

Use Call Number Browse to locate an item and other items closely related to it.
In the Basic Search mode, select Call Number Browse from the Search By: dropdown menu.
To find the title with the call number ps351 a35 1994
and other titles about twentieth century American drama:

Use the Call Number Search primarily to retrieve a specific title.
In the Basic Search mode, select Call Number from the Search By: dropdown menu.

Note: Limits cannot be set on Call Number Search or Call Number Browse.
