Title Searching
Title and Journal Title searching are Basic Search options. For both:
- Omit initial articles (a, an, the, le, der etc.) in any language
- Type at least the first part of the title
- Select either Title (begins with) or Journal Title (begins with) from the Search By: dropdown menu.
Title searches titles for all materials, including books, journals and other serials, sound recordings and videos.

Journal Title searches only for titles of magazines, scholarly journals, newspapers and other serials. Journal Title searches cannot be limited by date.
